A Beautiful Alabama Winter Wedding at Highlands Chapel

Not many couples, that we know of, got engaged, planned their wedding day and got married, ALL within the timeframe of the pandemic. Drae and Chaney didn’t hold back. They knew what they wanted and when they wanted it and not even a pandemic was going to stop them from becoming husband and wife. From the day that Drae proposed, they set the wheels in motion. And so did we, lol!

We had so much fun during this whole process. Living across the street, allowed us to be a part of the planning of their big day. We’ve been neighbors with the Williams family for over 20 years. We’ve watched Chaney grow up. We’ve had the privilege of photographing many milestones in all their lives. So when this day came, in a sense, we didn’t feel like just the photographers. We felt like family.

We also had the chance to get to know Drae better in the multiple engagement sessions that we had with them. Watching how he and Chaney looked at each other was so heart warming. These two are so very much in love and we were thrilled to be a part of the most important day in their lives.

Their wedding day was filled with family and friends on a beautiful December day at Highlands Chapel. The sun was bright, the sky was clear and the air was the perfect temperature. The perfect day for the perfect couple.
