There is just nothing more romantic than a classic, traditional wedding in the majestic Cathedral of St. Paul’s in downtown Birmingham! Being present in the cathedral is truly a spiritual experience. The ceremony and mass were absolutely awe inspiring! Michelle in her gorgeous Heidi Elnora gown and Drew in his classic black tux were a sight straight out of a movie! As they left the cathedral and stepped into the 1940 Packard, it truly was like stepping back in time. This day had all the ingredients to make for the perfect wedding day! The weather was very chilly and windy but that didn’t slow anything down! The wedding party didn’t hesitate to stand out in the freezing cold at Linn Park to get the beautiful shots that Michelle was hoping for. The girls were in a gorgeous forest green and carried a beautiful bouquet of burgundy and ivory! The perfect rich tones for the holiday season! After we braved the weather at the park, and the sun was all but gone, we were able to get those last few sunset shots on the bridge overlooking the city!
To top the evening off, the reception was at the one and only Florentine. The ballroom and the decor were as elegant as it gets. The place was packed with friends and family, there to celebrate the newly wed Mr. & Mrs. Tolleson! And celebrate they did! These people know how to party! The band was on fire, the food was exquisite and the atmosphere was electric! It was truly a wedding to remember!
We have to be honest, we have gone through these images many times. Each and every time we can’t help but smile. It was a beautiful day filled with beautiful people and beautiful architecture, full of history and elegance. But most of all it was filled with love and the love comes across each and every image so clearly.
Drew and Michelle, we are so grateful that you chose us to capture this monumental day in your love story! We hope that every time you look at your wedding gallery, you both can relive it and every emotion that came with it, from now until forever!
