Jordan & Rayme
Jordan and Rayme are high school sweethearts that have been together now for over 8 years! They are already ahead of the game when it comes to their relationship! They probably know each other better than some couples that have been married for years! To watch them together is just the sweetest! On their wedding day, each was worried and nervous. But not about themselves. Rayme was nervous for Jordan and Jordan was nervous for Rayme. You could tell that they just wanted to be together! She needed to know that he was okay and he needed to be there to comfort her, because he knew her, and knew that although she was in the best hands with her best friends (an amazing bride tribe!), it wasn’t him. HE needed to be there for her. The good ‘ol Alabama weather wasn’t helping the situation either. It started out so very hot and oh, so humid! As the day progressed we went from hot, humid and some clouds, to light rain and dark clouds…..then BAM! The storm moved in before the ceremony. Through this transitioning weather, though, Jordan and Rayme shared a first look. Oh, goodness!! We’re pretty sure we were all either choked up or right out crying! When a very nervous Rayme approached Jordan and with a shaky hand, tapped him on the shoulder and he turned, she immediately broke down (as did we!). He took her into his arms and you could visibly see the relief and comfort wash over her!
It seemed that the weather followed their moods throughout the day! They were anxious, nervous and hot under the collar. Then the anticipation, strong wind as the build up of finally seeing one another approached. Then the pouring, torrential rain that washed the heat and worry away! After the storm, the temperature was perfect, the light breeze was calming, and the barn was packed with friends and family! And, of course, Jordan & Rayme were husband and wife! They ate, drank (lemonade), and were literally married and danced the night away! You can see the progression in their faces below, from preoccupied and distracted to pure joy!
And they lived Happily Ever After!
Mr. & Mrs. Bryant, we could not be any happier that our paths crossed a few years back! We will forever be grateful for your friendship and look forward to watching you grow into an old married couple! Thank you for trusting us to document this day for you! We’ll be in touch, about a year from now, for your anniversary session, LOL!!!
