An Early Springtime Wedding in Talladaga, Alabama
Back before the world was shaken to it’s core, we had the honor of spending a beautiful day with a couple that was not going to let anything get in the way of the day that they had thoughtfully and joyfully planned for months. The day that they had dreamed of, pretty much from the day that they met. The day they counted down from when Kara said yes to forever to Casey. And we are so thankful that they decided to stick with their dream!
The weather was picture perfect! Mallard Oaks Farm was dressed to a T. Kara was absolutely glowing and Casey was beyond ready to say I Do! For 10 hours our minds were completely taken away from the outside world and we were caught up in all of the happiness that surrounded us. Kara’s bridesmaids were so fun and sweet and gorgeous and the groomsmen were all relaxed, funny and having a great time. The wonderful vendors were bustling around decorating and setting up, making an already beautiful venue, come to life. The families were popping in and out, making sure that everyone had everything they needed. This day was exactly what everyone that had a part in, needed!
The ceremony under the majestic oak tree, set in the lower field as the sun was setting, was like something out of a southern, romantic novel! Kara walking towards Casey, with the breeze blowing gently, was like a dream. They were surrounded by their close friends and family that cheered as the officiant announced Mr. & Mrs. Hardage to the world. Capturing every moment that went on that day was one of the easiest and most pleasurable “jobs” we’ve ever had. When we look back at these beautiful images, we will always remember how it was just what we (everyone) needed.
Kara and Casey, thank your for your determination. Thank you for inviting us into your life and making us feel like one of your family! Thank you for trusting us to document the most important day of your lives. We will always look back on this day with love and we sincerely hope that every time you look at these pictures, you will remember every single minute and every single emotion! You both, along with your family, will always have a special place in our hearts!
Love, Katie & Cindy
